The Bavarian Employees Association today cabled a protest to Secretary of the Army Kenneth C. Royall in Washington against the dismissal of 12 American Jews employed by the American Military Government in Germany. The message charged that A.M.G. authorities in Bavaria and Berlin had dismissed 12 employees because they are Jews.

Herbert Baker, president of the association, charged that A.M.G. authorities were pursuing a policy of firing employees who are not native American citizens. Referring to the 12 A.M.C. employees fired recently, he said, “by coincidence, all were Jews.”
