Scotland Yard detectives were today hunting Sidney Stanley, Polish Jew resident in Britain, who was recently involved in a public investigation of an alleged scandal in British Government circles.
It is believed here that Stanley, acting on advice of counsel, is making an attempt to enter Israel illegally. Stanley, whom the Israeli Government has refused an entry visa, failed to report to a London police station yesterday. He has been reporting daily on police orders because of deportation proceedings against him.
