Meir Siko, Well-known Hebrew Author, Dies in Israel; Settled in Palestine in 1912

Meir Siko, well-known Hebrew writer and author of a number of books, died here yesterday at the age of 73. He was a brother of Moshe Smilanski, leader of the Farmers Association. Born in Russia, he came to Palestine in 1912 and remained here for the rest of his life.
