Heads of Major U.S. Zionist Groups Urge Members to Participate in U.p.a. Conference

A joint call signed by the presidents of the Zionist Organization of America, Hadassah, Labor Zionist Organization of America and the Mizrachi Organization of America urging local chapters affiliated with the four national groups to participate in the national conference of the United Palestine Appeal–which will be held in Washington beginning Oct. 22–was issued today. The appeal pointed out that “Israel is in the midst of a crisis which can expose the whole state to the dangers of unemployment and depression.”
