NEW YORK (Feb. 5)
A 12-man committee representing the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York left La Guardia Airport today for Israel where its members will conduct an on-the-spot survey of conditions. The committee expects to return on Feb. 16 following a study of conditions in Israel’s immigration facilities, agricultural settlement and industrial centers. It hopes to learn the needs to be met by operating agencies of the U.J.A. in Israsel.
