Hief Rabbi of British Empire Urges Intensified Religious Activity Among Jewish Youth

Dr. Israel Brodie, Chief Rabbi of the British Empire who is touring Jewish communities in Africa, last night opened the first session of the South African Jewish Ministers Conference in Coronation Hall here.

In his opening remarks, Rabbi Brodie told the rabbis from all parts of the ?ion that unless rabbinical leaders intensify their programs among Jewish youth, the present generation would be influenced by the evil forces of materialism and communism.” Chief Rabbi Isaac Rabinowitz of South Africa thanked Dr. Brodie “for inspiring address.”
