Israel Government Orders $1,500,000 Worth of Medical Supplies from U.S. Firms

Israel has placed orders with American firms for $1,500,000 worth of medical supplies and building materials needed by medical institutions in the Jewish state, Dr. Isaac Kovelman, adviser of the Israel Ministry of Health, announced here yesterday prior to returning to Israel. He said that $1,000,000 of the funds used came from the $100,000,000 American loan and that the remainder came from general funds of the Israel Government.
