Columbia University Introduces Two Courses on Judaism; Dr. Gordis Appointed Lecturer

Dr. Robert Gordis, Associate Professor of Bible at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, has been appointed lecturer in Religion at Columbia University, it was announced today. He will teach two courses at Columbia’s School of General Studies. They will be “Elements of Judaism,” and “Background of Modern Jewish Thought and Movements.”
