Three former Nazis, including Willi Lager, onetime chief of the Nazi security forces and police in occupied Holland during the late war, were today condemned to die for the deportation and death of 70,000 Dutch Jews.

The Nazis were previously sentenced to die by a lower court, but today the High Court turned down their last appeal. The three can now be saved only by a royal pardon.
