The United States Maccabiah basketball team, which will compete in Israel Sept. 27 to Oct. 8, returned here today from Brazil after playing eight games to raise money for the Israel trip. The Maccabiah defeated Flamingo, the best team in Brazil, 77 to 59, and also won over Bowling Green 65 to 59, in an all-American contest in Rio De Janeiro.
