Oldest Reform Synagogue in Philadelphia Begins 150th Celebration of Its Founding

Rodeph Shalom, oldest Reform congregation in this city, has begun a two-month celebration of the 150th anniversary of its founding. Dr. David H. Wice is rabbi of the congregation, which was founded by German and Polish Jews.

The Sesquicentennial celebration will continue throughout November with special service, symposia, banquets, a Jewish religious art exhibition and other social and civic events.
