A sharp denunciation of the leaders of the state of Israel was voiced by Rumanian Chief Rabbi Dr. Mozes Rosen addressing a meeting commemorating the tenth anniversary of the Jewish massacre at Jassy, it was reported in the current issue of the Rumanian Jewish publication Vista Noua which arrived here today.

Speaking before the leaders of the Communist-controlled Jewish Democratic Committee and Rumanian state official, Dr. Rosen assailed Israeli Government leaders for allying “themselves on the warmongers’ front, side by side with the executioners of our brothers.” The Chief Rabbi charged that the “rulers of Israel together with the American and British imperialists, want to start a war against the Soviet Union, which saved our lives, and against the Rumanian People’s Republic, our beloved fatherland in which for the first time we enjoy a free life and free conditions for development.”
