Chief Rabbi Mozes Rosen of Rumania attacked the Government of Israel in his Rosh Hashanah message which was published in the latest edition of Viata Noua, organ of the Jewish Democratic Committee of Rumania, which has just arrived here.
After scoring the Western Powers for the rearming of German Rabbi Rozen says: “Let us not forget what the present rulers of the State of Israel have forgotten in supporting the American-British forces of aggression against the will of the Israeli people and in joining the camp in which are the murderers of 6,000,000 Jews.’
Asserting that the greeting “Shalom” expresses the “best in our entire conception of life,” Rabbi Rozen concludes by saying that “those who are today at the head of the State of Israel have not remained faithful to this slogan, forgetting the gratitude owed the great Soviet Union.”
