A group of 26 teachers left for Israel today to participate in the winter seminary arranged by the education department of the Jewish Agency.
A campaign for the planting of 400,000 trees in Israel, in the “Grove of Jewish Martyrs” was launched here last night at a mass meeting addressed by Dr. Joseph Weitz, official of the Jewish National Fund in Jerusalem, and Isaac Kaplan, president of the J. N. F. in Argentina.
