Sprinzak’s Term As Acting President of Israel to Be Extended

A decision to extend the term of Joseph Sprinzak as Acting President of Israel for another three months was adopted today by the Home Committee of the Knesset.

The decision was taken in view of the fact that President Chaim Weizmann is still unable to fulfill his duties as the head of the state. The decision will be sent to Parliament for approval.
