Austrian Chancellor Pledges Consideration of Restitution Claims

Chancellor Leopold Figl today told the Austrian Parliament that thorough consideration will be given by the government to representations made by foreign Jewish organizations regarding questions of restitution to Jewish victims of Nazism. Representations to this effect were made to the Austrian Chancellor during his recent visit to England and the United States.
