Mrs. Ruth B. Fromenson, one of the founders of Hadassah, died yesterday in the Medical Arts Center after a prolonged Illness. She was 73 years old. Born in Rochester, N.Y., she came to New York City as a young girl and later met the late Henrietta Szold whom she assisted in the establishment of Hadassah. From 1915 to 1940 she was chairman of Hadassah’s Palestine Supplies Bureau which shipped medical supplies and hospital equipment to Palestine.
