A new immigration regulation which makes it more difficult for aliens to become permanent residents of Mexico has been put into effect by the Interior and Foreign Ministries since November 1.

The regulation also provides that prospective immigrants from Germany and Austria shall confirm the fact that they are not Communists and must attest to their “political reliability.”
