Israel Envoy Reports to Cabinet on Sentiment in United States

The Israel Cabinet today heard a report by Reuven Shilaoh, Israel Minister Plenipotentiary to Washington, on the American Government’s views toward Israel and the Middle East in the current Israel-Arab crisis.

Mr. Shiloah also analyzed the role of American Jewry in relation to Israel. He said that the Jews of the United States had “re-awakened” in their interest toward Israel. The Cabinet also heard a report by Premier and Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett on Israel’s complaint to the United Nations against Jordan.
