Dr. Aron Syngalowski, president of the World ORT Union, was decorated here yesterday by the French Government with the order of Chevalier of the Legion of Honor in recognition of his ideological and practical contributions in the field of vocational training of youth for peaceful and reconstruction activity.
The ORT maintains vocational schools and training centers in a number of cities in France and in its North African territories. Dr. Syngalowski resides in Geneva where the general headquarters of the World ORT Union are located.
