The Israel-Egyptian Mixed Armistice Commission this week-end condemned Egypt for the mining of an Israeli command car last week in the Kissufim area of the Gaza strip demilitarized zone. The MAC also censured Isael for mortaring Egyptian positions, although the Israeli delegation explained that this had been done to give the personnel in the damaged vehicle an opportunity to escape from Egyptian fire.
