Rabbi A. Elihu Michelson, educational consultant of the Commission on Jewish Chaplaincy of the National Jewish Welfare Board, has been designated by the Department of Defense to conduct a retreat for Jewish chaplains in the Far East, Twelve chaplains from Japan, Okinawa, Guam, the Phillipines and possibly Hawaiz and Alaska will participate in a Tokyo retreat, and seven chaplains will participate in a later Korean retreat.
