James N. Rosenberg, noted Jewish leader and artist, gave 24 landscapes he painted of the Adirondacks to the United Hospital Fund’s “Art for Hospitals” program at a ceremony here yesterday.
The paintings will be exhibited to the public for a week and then will be hung in wards, clinics and waiting rooms of four New York hospitals, The program is being carried out in line with the latest views of medical authorities that pleasant, familiar and cheerful paintings help patients recover more quickly.
