B’nai B’rith Cited by Secretary Dulles for Aiding U.N. Work

Secretary of State John Foster Dulles has awarded a citation to B’nai B’rith praising the organization for its efforts to make known the principles of the United Nations Charter, it was disclosed at B’nai B’rith head-quarters here. A citation was also awarded to the B’nai B’rith Women by Secretary Dulles.

B’nai B’rith is a constituent member of the Coordinating Board of Jewish Organizations which has consultative status as a non-governmental body with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Since 1947 the B’nai B’rith Women’s Supreme Council has had accredited observer status with the United Nations.
