President Eisenhower Gets Bill on Gold Medal for Dr Salk

A bill to provide a gold medal to be coined and presented to Dr. Jonas E. Salk, conqueror of polio, was sent to the President today for his signature. It was passed by Congress last week. Details on the presentation of the medal have not been announced yet.
