More Than 800 Immigrants from North Africa Arrive in Israel

A party of 846 immigrants, most of them from North Africa arrived here yesterday aboard the vessel S.S. Jerusalem. The party included # persons from Poland, eight from Hungary and three from Czechoslovakia.

The immigrants from Poland reported that a party of 100 Jews is awaiting exit visas a Warsaw so that its members can come to Israel. Czech immigrants were allowed to bring many valuables with them, but were not permitted to take out currency. Some of the immigrants reported that anti-Semitism was recently encouraged in the Eastern European countries after the completion of the Czech-Egyptian ########.
