The Soviet Government has promised to investigate the disappearance of Raoul Wallenberg, Swedish diplomat who played a leading wartime role in rescuing Jews from the Nazis, the Times reported today from Moscow. Mr. Wallenberg, member of a famous Swedish diplomatic family, disappeared in Budapest in 1945 shortly after the Soviet Army liberated the Hungarian capital.
