Lloyd Wright, chairman of the Commission on Government Security, announced this week-end that his group would investigate charges by Anti-Defamation League head Henry E. Schultz that the suspension of numerous government employee was “animated by elements of anti-Semitism.”
In a letter to Mr. Schultz, Mr. Wright, former chairman of the American Bar Association, asked for further details of the ADL charges including “the specific names of individuals involved, and other specific instances of such violations, in order that the commission can follow up these matters.” Mr. Schultz charges were contained in a report presented by the ADL head to the recently concluded B’nai B’rith national convention.
