F. B. I. Asked to Probe Anti-semitic Letters Sent to Jewish Leaders

The FBI and postal authorities have been asked to investigate anti Semitic letters sent from California to Jewish community centers, temples and other institutions in Boston and other cities of the United States, it was revealed here by Robert E. Segal, executive director of the Jewish Community Council of this city.

The letters ostensibly come from a Nisei (Japanese-American) organization in Gardena, California. However, Nisei spokesmen in that city deny that they come from Japanese and believe that they are a “deliberate attempt to incense one minority group against another.
