The Jewish population of the Rumanian town of Jassy turned out today to attend memorial services at the Jewish cemetery for the hundreds of Jews murdered by the Rumanian Fascists 15 years ago. Pogroms and deportations in packed trains which slowly wandered through the country side until most of the men, women and children within had died, were organized by Premier Ian Antonescu’s Iron Guardists in 1941.
