Brazil Issues Immigration Visas to 1,000 Jewish Families from Morocco

Brazilian immigration authorities today granted immigration visas for 1,000 Jewish families from Morocco. The action followed personal intervention by President Joscelino Kubitchek of Brazil. It is understood that the new immigrants will be admitted on condition that they do not settle in the large cities.
