Mayor Gershon Agron of Jerusalem arrived here yesterday on a two-month tour of the United States and Canada in behalf of the Israel bond campaign. He stressed that there was complete freedom of religion in Jerusalem which has spiritual significance to three great religious faiths.

Mayor Agron offered the West a solution to its current difficulties with the Suez Canal. He suggested that an alternate channel could be cut from Eilath. Israel’s southern port on the Gulf of Akaba, 200 miles across Israel to the Mediterranean Sea.
