Some $2,364,000 worth of Israel bonds were sold in the Los Angeles area and it is certain that the final figure for the year will reach $3,000,000.
This was announced here tonight at a dinner in honor of Israel Foreign Minister Golda Meir. Among the guests at the dinner were Henry Montor, Sam Rothberg and Julian Venezky, pioneer organizers of the Israel Bond Organization. The announcement of sales was made by Louis H. Boyar, bond chairman for the Los Angeles area.
