A new Jewish Family Bible, the most complete edition of the Scriptures ever assembled, containing 188 full-color reproductions of the original art painted by Jacob Barosin, was introduced to the press here today. The edition represents a four-year project. An introduction was written by Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver.

The Jewish Family Bible, luxuriously published, was prepared for every Jewish home–Orthodox, Reform or Conservative. It is featured by scholarly work by some of the most distinguished men in the American rabbinate. It has a very important encyclopedic section giving the data on every person and place mentioned in the Bible. It also numerous maps of areas mentioned in the Bible.
