Israel, France Sign Pact for Assembling French Trucks in Tel Aviv

Israel and France have concluded an agreement for the assembly in Israel of French manufactured trucks, it was announced today.

Operations will begin as soon as the two governments decide how much of a $30,000,000 French credit will be devoted to this project. The trucks are of Unic-Saurer make and have a 12-ton capacity. They will be assembled by Israel Automobile, Ltd., a privately-owned car importing firm.
