JERUSALEM (May. 27)
Recent political and security developments in the neighboring Arab countries have precluded lifting military government from Arab areas of this country, Premier David Ben Gurion reported today to the Knesset Security and Foreign Affairs Committee.
The Premier also presented a detailed picture of yesterday’s clash between Israeli police and Jordanian troops on Mt. Scopus in which Col. George A. Flint, Canadian chairman of the Mixed Armistice Commission, and four Israeli policemen lost their lives.
