“Anti-Semitic terror has locked the Jewish communities in a grip of fear and terror unmatched since the Iron Guard days, the New York Post reported this week-end in an article from Vienna by its correspondent Seymour Freidin. The correspondent emphasized that mass arrests have even hit Jewish communities.

Some 2,000 Jews have arrived in Vienna in the past few weeks from Rumania en route to Israel, the Associated Press reported here today from the Austrian capital.
