Synagogue Council Aide Named White House Parley Vice Chairman

Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum, executive director of the Synagogue Council of America, has been named by President Eisenhower as the only Jewish vice-chairman of the National Committee for the White House Conference of Children and Youth to be held March 1960.

The Synagogue Council of America, central representative agency for the American Reform, Conservative and Orthodox communities, has been formally invited by the White House to coordinate Jewish participation in the White House conference. Danny Kaye was one of five committee members named for California.
