Report Israel to Apply to World Bank for Development Loans

Israel is expected to apply for several loans from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, it became known as two representatives of the world bank completed a study mission here today. Among the projects for which loans are expected to be sought are the construction of a new, large port on the Mediterranean, probably at Ashdoth; expansion of electricity production facilities, and equipment for the increase of potash production.
