Two Russians Sentenced to Death in U.S. S. R. for Aiding Nazis Kill Jews

Two Soviet citizens who collaborated with the Nazis in mass executions of Jews and Ukrainians during the German occupation of the Ukraine, have been sentenced to death in the city of Rostov, the Moscow radio reported today.

The report said that the trial lasted seven days and attracted great interest. It was not clear from the report whether the defendants were recently apprehended or have long been in custody awaiting trial for crimes committed about 15 years ago. The two were identified in the broadcast as Semizorov and Bondarev, their first names not being given.
