Walter Eytan, Israel’s new Ambassador to France, arrived here today to take up his duties. The envoy said he wanted to echo the words of Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, during her recent visit to Paris, that the ties of friendship and mutual respect between Israel and France were stronger than ever. He was met at the airport by a representative of the French Foreign Ministry.
