A powerful Israel striking force, composed of artillery, armor and armored infantry units was on the move in the Southern Negev today in major war games exercises.
The force’s “target” was the “Green Enemy Force” established in a stronghold and using Russian military tactics. The Israel “Blue Force” was given the assignment of blasting through to the Green stronghold and taking it. Planes supported the ground action. Live ammunition was used.
Brigadier General Chaim Laskov, chief of the armed forces, said today that the large-scale military maneuvers will be carried out in a way which will affect as little as possible routine civilian life in the country.
