A group of members of the West German Parliament, including representatives of both of the leading political parties, the Christian Democratic Union and the Social Democratic Party, left today for Israel. The CDU group is led by Peter Nellen, and the Socialist unit by Werner Jacobi.

While the leaders of the group emphasized that they arranged the trip on “our own initiative,” they said also they plan to confer in Israel “with leading political personalities.”
