Herman P. Taubman, a prominent philanthropist and leading member of the Jewish community here, died today at the age of 66. He was a member of the National Campaign Cabinet of the United Jewish Appeal, Southwest chairman of the Israel bond campaign, and a vicepresident of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute. Mr. Taubman was an honorary life member of the Tulsa Jewish Community Council.

While he was extremely active for all Jewish causes, his deep sympathy for the plight of Jews overseas led him to devote a major share of his time to the United Jewish Appeal, the Technion and the Weizmann Institute.”)
