The establishment of the first unit of the National Association of Social Workers outside the United States, was announced here today by Charles Jordan, overseas director of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, who was named president pro tem of the new group. The new unit of the national American organization , which held its initial meeting at the JDC headquarters here, includes 30 members of the NASW living and working abroad.
