Jewish youths in Oran seized a Moslem terrorist who threw a grenade into a cafe in Oran’s Jewish quarter and tried to lynch him but were stopped by police, it was reported here today from that city.

Two Jews were wounded in the cafe bombing by the Moslem in the latest of a series of attacks by the Algerian underground movement against Jews in the strife-wracked French colony. Later, other Oran Jews ransacked Moslem shops in the Jewish quarter in protest against the anti-Jewish outrages.
