Jewish Victim of Nazism Named Director General of Dutch Red Gross

Alfred van Embden, a Jew who was a victim at the The resienstact concentration camp during World War II, was appointed today as director-general of the Dutch Red Cross. He is president of the finance committee of the International Red Cross at Geneva.
