Reform Rabbis Consider Extreme Right-wing Groups Dangerous to U.S.

Leaders of the rabbinical-wing of American Reform Judaism condemned this weekend the statements and actions of the John Birch Society, the Christian Anti-Communist Crusade and other extreme right-wing groups as “inimical and dangerous to the American democratic way of life. ” The executive board of the Central Conference of American Rabbis accused the extreme rightist groups of “attempts to turn back the course of social progress.”
