Aage Hessellund Jensen, Danish Ambassador to the United Nations, was presented last night with the annual brotherhood award of the Sutton Place Synagogue here for his part in aiding Jews to escape from Nazi hands during World War II.

He aided the Jewish community of Denmark during the Nazi occupation in 1943 and when he was secretary to the Danish legation in Stockholm he helped Jews escaping to Sweden.
