The Canadian Secretary of State for External Affairs, Howard Green, announced today that Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, will pay an official visit to Ottawa on November 28-29-30. Mrs. Meir last visited Canada officially in 1958.
While in Ottawa, the Israel Foreign Minister will confer with the Canadian Prime Minister, John Diefenbaker, and the Secretary of State for External Affairs. Mrs. Meir will be guest of honor at a dinner given by Secretary Green on the day of her arrival.
